Learning outcomes

The student becomes acquainted with the enterprise architecture including information architecture and its importance in the management and development of organizations.

The student can apply the enterprise and information architecture to her/his own working environment.

Course contents

  • Introduction to the enterprise architectures by using a general enterprise architecture framework – TOGAF.
  • Concept of information architecture
  • Information architecture and enterprise architecture
  • Tools, techniques and methods for developing information architectures

The student makes a seminar report about the enterprise and information architectures related to her/his working environment.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that recognizes a student’s earlier accomplished skills and experience. These skills can be based on prior studies or work experience. Students wishing to have their prior learning recognized, enroll normally to the course and contact their teacher upon the first lesson to start the RPL-procedure.
